Was born in 1976 in the city of Petrozavodsk.

Graduated from the history department of Petrozavodsk State University in 1998.

From 1998 to 2001 he studied in full-time postgraduate study at the Philosophy Faculty of St. Petersburg State University, specializing in Philosophical Anthropology, Religious Studies and Philosophy of Culture.

In 2001 he presented his Ph.D. thesis in the above specialty at the St. Petersburg State University. From 2002 to 2005 he worked at the Department of Philosophy of Petrozavodsk State University as a senior lecturer, since 2005 - an associate professor. In 2007, he was elected by the Academic Council as the head of the Department of Philosophy (now the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies) of Petrozavodsk State University, where he still works.

In 2012 he presented his doctoral dissertation in the specialty 09.00.13 "Philosophical anthropology and philosophy of culture".

Since 2013, she has also worked as a professor at the Department of Music Pedagogy and Humanities at the Petrozavodsk State Conservatory named after A.K. Glazunov.

Research interests: philosophical anthropology, philosophy of science and education, bioethics. He is the author of over 50 scientific publications. Since 2019, he has been the editor-in-chief of the electronic periodical international peer-reviewed scientific publication "Studia Humanitatis Borealis".
