Doctor of Sociologу, Professor, Director of the Institute of Management and Social Technologies of Lesgaft National State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health, St. Petersburg. She was born in 1961 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Faculty of History of the Leningrad State University named after A.A. Zhdanov in 1984 (currently - the Institute of History of St. Petersburg State University) (degree - “History”, qualification - historian, teacher of history and social science). She defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Philosophy at Leningrad State University in 1991, thesis for the degree of Doctor of Sociology (specialty 22.00.04 - Social structure, social institutions and processes) at the St. Petersburg State University in 1998.
Rosenko S.I. was awarded academic title of associate professor in 1997, academic title of professor - in 2006. She was awarded the medal "In Commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg", the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2007).
Rosenko S.I. is the Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation. Shе has a gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation for merits in the development of science and education, training of qualified specialists and conscientious work (2017). Chairman of the Research Committee on the Sociology of Physical Culture and Sports of the Russian Society of Sociologists. Participant of the regional project “Golden Fund of Education and Science Professionals of St. Petersburg”. Corresponding member of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts, Baltic Pedagogical Academy.
Rosenko S.I. is a Мember of the editorial boards of the scientific journals “Society. Еnvironment. Development”, “ Discourse ”. Research area - social differentiation, social institutions and social structure. Special attention in her scientific research is paid to the issues of transformation of social-class differentiation of post-Soviet society. She is the author of over 80 scientific and educational works, including 2 monographs.
