Doctor of Political Science, Professor of the Faculty of Business Communications of the University under the IPA EurAsEC

He was born in 1956 in Leningrad. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Leningrad State University named after A. A. Zhdanov.

1980 to 1983 studied in full-time postgraduate study at the Faculty of Philosophy of Leningrad State University. In 1983 he presented his Ph.D. thesis in philosophy, and in 1997 he presented his doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Political Sciences in the specialty 23.00.01 - Theory of Politics, History and Methodology of Political Science.

The academic title of associate professor was awarded in 1992, the academic title of professor  in 2002.

After successfully completing his postgraduate studies, he worked at St. Petersburg State University - as an assistant since 1983, as an associate professor since 1991, as a professor since 2002.

From 2017 to the present he is a Head of the Department of Communication Technologies and Service Activities of the University under the IPA EurAsEC

In 2005–2018 he worked as a visiting lecturer at the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Humanitarian Institute of the Peter the Great State Polytechnic University

Scientific interests of Professor Eliseev S.M. lie in the field of sociology of politics and power, political processes and institutions,

He is the author of over 150 scientific and educational works, including 10 monographs.
