Целью исследования была оценка доли профессорско-преподавательского персонала с различным стажем работы на педагогических должностях в высших учебных заведениях в общем числе преподавателей в организациях системы высшего образования в каждом из регионов России. Научная новизна связана с анализом пространственных аспектов формирования преподавательских коллективов организаций высшего образования с учетом педагогического стажа работников. Актуальность рассматриваемой проблемы обусловлена необходимостью снижения сложившихся диспропорций в кадровом персонале вузов и привлечения к преподавательской деятельности молодых ученых.Методология и источники. В исследовании использовалась официальная статистическая информация о стаже работы преподавателей вузов по 82 регионам России в 2020 году. Авторский методический подход основывался на использовании в качестве математических моделей функций плотности нормального распределения. В ходе работы были определены показатели, характеризующие долю преподавателей, относящихся к пяти группам по стажу педагогической работы.Результаты и обсуждение. Результаты исследования показали: примерно каждый четырнадцатый преподаватель имел педагогический стаж менее пяти лет, каждый девятый преподаватель работал на таких должностях от пяти до десяти лет, каждый седьмой преподаватель работал на таких должностях от десяти до пятнадцати лет, каждый пятый преподаватель работал на таких должностях от пятнадцати до двадцати лет. Доказано, что число преподавателей со стажем работы до двадцати лет составило 52 % и было немного больше, чем число преподавателей со стажем работы двадцать и более лет. Проведенный анализ показал наличие определенной дифференциации значений рассматриваемых показателей по регионам.Заключение. Предлагаемый методологический подход и полученные результаты обладают оригинальностью и научной новизной. Они могут быть использованы федеральными и региональными органами власти при разработке мероприятий по формированию преподавательского персонала организаций высшего образования.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. The aim of the study was to assess the share of teaching staff with various work experience in teaching positions in higher education institutions in the total number of teachers in higher education organizations in each of the regions of Russia. The scientific novelty is connected with the analysis of spatial aspects of the formation of teaching teams of higher education organizations, taking into account the teaching experience of employees. The relevance of the problem under consideration is due to the need to reduce the existing imbalances in the personnel of universities and attract young specialists to teaching.</p></sec><sec><title>Methodology and sources</title><p>Methodology and sources. During the study the author used official statistical information on the work experience of university teachers in 82 regions of Russia in 2020. The author's methodological approach was based on the use of normal distribution density functions as mathematical models. In the course of the work, there were determined the indicators characterizing the share of teachers belonging to five groups by experience of pedagogical work.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. The results of the study showed that approximately every fourteenth teacher had less than five years of teaching experience, every ninth teacher worked on such positions from five to ten years, every seventh teacher worked on such positions from ten to fifteen years, every fifth teacher worked on such positions from fifteen to twenty years. It is proved that the number of teachers with work experience up to twenty years was 52% and it is slightly more than the number of teachers with work experience of twenty years or more. The analysis showed the presence of a certain differentiation of the indicator values under consideration by region.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The proposed methodological approach and the results obtained are characterized have originality and scientific novelty.
