Исследуется изменение глобальной парадигмы образования в условиях пандемии коронавируса. Говорится о том, что это не только переход на дистанционное обучение с использованием современных технологий. Такой переход взаимодействия студентов и педагогов, которые неожиданно оказались в совершенно новых для них условиях, требуетот преподавателей пересмотра традиционных методик, поскольку при дистанционных занятиях студенты достаточно быстро теряют концентрацию, мотивацию, отвлекаются на посторонние вопросы, и, как следствие, результаты снижаются. Включение игровых приемов в процесс обучения иностранным языкам позволяет создать атмосферу непринужденного общения, повысить мотивацию и интерес студентов к предмету, поднять их самооценку и улучшить результаты.</p></sec><sec><title>Методология и источники</title><p>Методология и источники. Исследование проходило на практических материалах, подготовленных авторами для проведения занятий со студентами-лингвистами и студентами технических специальностей, а также на основании результатов специально разработанных анкет-опросников для студентов.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты и обсуждение</title><p>Результаты и обсуждение.Важным результатом проведенного исследования стал вывод о необходимости пересмотра традиционных методик преподавания иностранных языков в условиях пандемии коронавируса и адаптации курсов преподавания к новым дистанционным технологиям, включение в них игровых методик, которые способствуют повышению мотивации студентов и улучшению их самооценки.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение.Языковые игры являются ценным ресурсом для адаптации курсов обучения иностранному языку в условиях пандемии коронавируса и переходу на дистанционное обучение. Они могут быть эффективным инструментом обучения по всем аспектам иностранного языка в аудитории с любым уровнем подготовки.</p></sec><sec><title>Ключевые слова</title><p>Ключевые слова:мотивация, обучение иностранному языку, современные технологии в обучении, языковые игры.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. The article examines changes in global education paradigm in coronavirus pandemic situation. It is not just a shift from classroom to remote instruction based on new technologies. It is also a dramatically new mode of communication in sudden and forced conditions, which requires teachers to revise traditional classroom teaching methods, as with remote learning students tend to lose concentration fairly quickly, distract, become less motivated and bored. As a result, the outcome is not as they expected. Including language games, which are relaxing and entertaining, into a syllabus helps increase motivation, academic self-esteem and improve the results.</p></sec><sec><title>Methodology and sources</title><p>Methodology and sources. The present study was based on the authors’ personal experience in teaching English to both students of linguistics and engineering students. Specifically designed questionnaires were also used to have opinions of the students, as well as the teachers of English.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. An obvious and important result of the study is that traditional foreign language teaching methods should be revised under the coronavirus pandemic situation. The syllabi should be adapted to advanced emote teaching a learning technologies and language games should be included to increase learners’ motivation and academic self-esteem.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Language games are a valuable resource to adapt foreign language teaching to remote instruction under coronavirus pandemic situation.
